In the Boise, Idaho area we have a wide range of beautiful locations with several different styles. From our pine tree filled mountains to the vast lakes, we have it all. One location stands out as far different from the others- Brenau Sand Dunes State Park. I’ve wanted to photograph a bridal shoot there since I was first learning to use my camera almost a decade ago. A few months ago- I decided it was time to make that dream a reality. So, I gathered a talented team together to pull it off.
I chose my style and color palette for this shoot carefully. I wanted it to naturally compliment the sand dunes but give it a bit of flair. I wanted to do something different than the normal at this type of location. The color palette was inspired by the environment around the dunes at sunset- from the sage green of the grass to the dusty blue sky.
