Meeting new families is one of the many joys of my work, and the Van Gansen family was a delight to capture in their cozy Meridian home. Baby Hudson, the newest addition to their family, is an absolute bundle of cuteness. From the moment I stepped into their warm and inviting space, I knew we were in for a memorable at-home lifestyle newborn session.

Hudson’s parents wanted to add a personal touch to the session. Incorporating details from dad’s favorite sport, baseball, added a playful and meaningful element to the photographs. Mitts, baseballs, and subtle nods to the sport seamlessly blended into the session, capturing not just a moment in time but a part of the family’s story.

Mom’s talent for home decor shone through in every corner of their adorable house. The carefully curated spaces served as the perfect neutral backdrop for Hudson’s cozy newborn photos. Soft blankets, natural light streaming in, and a lovingly decorated nursery created an atmosphere of warmth.
