The key to any successful relationship is communication. With any photoshoot there are expectations from both sides, especially a client’s because they would like a certain outcome. I’ve focused a lot of my client experience on making communication easy and clear. Here are some ways I accomplish this:
- Questionnaire. I’ve spent years as a photographer so I know there are things that I need to know in order to do my best job. Things like this include special circumstances (like disabilities, unique relationships, tips on communicating with your children, etc.). I also ask you all about what insecurities you or others in your family may have (that really helps me help you feel better and pose you to where you’ll feel more comfortable). There are many more things I ask on the questionnaires so I can do the best job. Honestly- the more information the better!
- What to Wear Guide. With the amount of families I photograph each year, I can get a lot of repeat questions. That’s why I’ve created this guide! You don’t even have to ask the question- it will answer it plus some. This relieves some of the stress off of your back since you have every bit of info you need in one place.
- Proposal. When you book your session I will send you an invoice and contract. From there you will be able to see the payments and when they are due. You’ll also be able to read our agreement and know exactly what I’ll do for you and any of your responsibilities.
- Location Lookbook. Part of great communication is making it simpler to do so! I’ve created a lookbook with images and information so you can select which spot is perfect for your family!
Those are just some of the ways I ensure communication is at its best for each and every one of my clients.
