On Saturday, Brice, Kazan, and I “hiked” around the Boise Foothills to capture their love! Usually, I expect to do some sort of “warm up” to get my clients feeling comfortable in front of the camera but these two were comfortable from the first photo! I loved how natural they were because we got so many images with raw emotion and joy!

One of my favorite parts of blogging an engagement session is to share a little bit of their story- and these two have such a great story!

Kazan and Brice met while working together. Brice was actually Kazan’s manager at work! Kazan remembers noticing Brice’s eyes first. Brice said he noticed her gorgeous smile.

They were both married to other people at the time they met- She was separated from her husband and he was struggling with his wife.

They were just friends at the time and knew that nothing could be done about thier feelings.

Time passed, they eventually changed jobs, and fell out of contact.

What’s meant to be is meant to be- timing is everything especially when it comes to love. 4 years passed and a mutual friend brought them back together.

On their first date they went to see a movie, Murder on the Orient Express. Then they had dinner at Applebees where they talked about what they were looking for out of life.
