I don’t know about you- but my hubby and I often get hung up on finding something fun and creative to do for date night. As much as we love Texas Roadhouse…. it’s just getting old! haha
The other day I was on the search for things to do in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, etc. and I thought that I might as well share the great ideas I found! Some of these are activities we have done before and others I found on Yelp, etc.
If you live in the Treasure Valley- I hope this helps you come up with a fun date night soon!
1-Pottery Making
We actually love to take our nieces and nephews here- but- it’s honestly such a fun date night! Ceramica Boise is so much fun. What I love about it is that you can just walk in, choose a piece of pottery, pay that one price and that is the only cost you have to pay! All the supplies and the cost of firing it are included. They hace so many colors and supplies you can choose from as well. The best part about it is that there is always an experienced staff member there- so they can teach you the techniques if you want!

The prices are anywhere from $5 to $70+- I have been there myself and there are many options that are affordable!

2- Starlight Mountain Theatre
This one is a bit more on the spendy side- but I have heard it is so worth it. I’ve never been but it’s definitely on my bucket list. They only run in the summertime but this year their plays are Oklahoma!, Mamma Mia, Newsies, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Over the River and Through the Woods. You can also add dinner to your ticket for around $16 per person!
They even have a campground near their theatre- so if you want to- that can be a fun addition to date night!

3- Arcade
On Cole and I’s first date- he took me to a vintage 80’s arcade- which was SO fun. We love to go to Grinkers in Eagle! Currently, you pay a small fee to get in and then it’s all quarter operated games- so being plenty of change! They have everything from Galactica to Street Fighter- my personal favorite!! They also have food like sandwiches, icecream, etc.

4- Albertsons Market Street
This is one of Cole and I’s obessions right now! We can never agree on what to eat and this place has it all! From sushi to burgers this place has SO many options and it’s affordable! The other night when we went- there was also a live band playing which was such a fun addition. This place is more than just food- it’s definitely an experience. It is located in Meridian across from the Village.
