These sessions aren’t just about photos (though yes, they’re gorgeous). They’re about showing up for the women who show up every single day—whether they’re seen or not.

Why I Do This

When I launched my photography business here in the Boise area, I knew I wanted it to be about more than just beautiful images. I wanted to build something rooted in community, connection, and care.

Motherhood can feel isolating, especially in the early years. You give so much of yourself—your body, your time, your energy—and often have little to show for it in the way of keepsakes or proof that you were there, too. These sessions are my way of saying:

You matter. You’re doing an incredible job. Let’s celebrate that.

Where We Give

Each year, I choose a local organization to receive 100% of the proceeds from my Motherhood Giveback Sessions, and more often than not, that organization is Hope’s Door / Advocates Against Family Violence.

This place holds a very special place in my heart.

I actually grew up doing service projects and collecting donations for Hope’s Door. I remember visiting their center as a teen, hearing the stories, and realizing just how deeply important safe spaces for women and families really are. Now, as a mom myself, that mission hits even harder.

These donations help provide resources, shelter, and support for families escaping abuse—and being able to link that cause with the work I do as a photographer is something that feels full circle and so deeply meaningful.

What the Sessions Include

My Motherhood Giveback Sessions are offered once a year—usually in the spring—at a low-ticket price so more mamas can participate. They’re short, simple, and full of heart.

🌿 A 5 minute session (in studio or outdoors, depending on the year)
📷 2-4 portraits of mama + her babies
👗 Access to my client closet for soft, flattering wardrobe options
💛 All proceeds donated to a local nonprofit serving women and families

There’s no pressure. Just gentle direction, soft light, and the space for you to simply be with your children while I quietly capture the magic that already exists between you.
