My family has known Brian’s family for quite awhile, so when Brian’s mom asked me to photograph their reception I was excited! Brian and Lacey got married in California- where they both are originally from but, since Brian’s family knows so many people here in the Treasure Valley- they decided to hold a reception here. It was a perfect night for a summer reception- the temperature was just perfect in the shade.
I came a bit early to snap a few pictures of Lacey and Brian together. Brian’s parents have a waterfall in their backyard (cool right?!) so we used that! Even though it was nice and sunny outside we still got quite a few cute pictures!
The reception was just across the street at Brian’s grandparent’s house. They have a beautiful big yard with the most gorgeous weeping willow tree (my favorite!)
Brian’s mom rented a special table and chairs for the couple from Rustique Rentals and Event Design. I loved the tablescape she set up- it was so pretty!

Waiting for the reception to start!
I was so surprised when I walked into the backyard for the first time to see my absolute favorite caterer Fannie Ruth Custom Bakery there! They are so amazing and always go above and beyond for their clients.
Brian’s mom made him some simple mac and cheese too- which I thought was so cute! She knew what he liked!

Grabbing a bite to eat while they could!
Kristy, These are all so beautiful! You did such an amazing job capturing the evening and the love surrounding them. Thanks for sharing! I hope we get to work together again in the near future!
